Our SPAM Policy is simple but extremely firm: Cagora.com, Community Enabler Pty. Ltd. and their related bodies maintain strict zero-tolerance to SPAM.
The following SPAM-related situations are totally unacceptable according to this Policy.
If you are found to be taking part in any of these situations, your account (membership) and all credits and commissions payable to you will be immediately disabled. A review between yourself and Cagora staff will then take place, after which time your account may be reinstated or permanently deleted, depending on the outcome of the review:
Incorrect email address. If you change your email address, make the edits IMMEDIATELY on your Profile Page.
Marketing Cagora via mass email. Whilst we warmly encourage you to spread the word about Cagora, unsolicited emailing is not tolerated. It is a very ineffective and totally morally unacceptable way of marketing and is definitely not in line with any of our policies, procedures or philosophies.
Using mailing lists created from people submitting their sites to Search Engines and FFA sites using automated software. Beware that many 'Safelists' or 'Opt-In' lists for sale on the Internet have been obtained this way.
Mass fax broadcasts
Attempting to solicit potential members in forums, chat rooms or bulletin boards on the Internet by mentioning Cagora or any of its products or services as a conversation starter. For example, it is not acceptable to drop into a chat room and say: "Come and join our new Jazz Music Community" as an initial conversation starter. This is spamming. You may however, join in general conversation with someone, and if they demonstrate they want to engage in a discussion, only then should you mention Cagora.
Setting up web forwarding to your affiliate website to divert somebody from a site where they would expect to find different products or services
Sending unsolicited mail from ANY account that mentions Cagora or one of our related bodies corporate or includes any of our website addresses (or any of our Project Partners or their website addresses) in the body of the message, is cause for your account to be immediately and permanently terminated, including any and all revenue-sharing bonuses you may be due.
Please note you may include a signature file to your posts in other communities, provided:
The terms and services of that community permit signature files
The post you make is a meaningful contribution to that community and not just an excuse to have your signature link there
We reserve the right to add any other forms of spam to our 'unacceptable' use list.
SPAM Complaint Review Process
We consider that only one Spam complaint from any source is grounds to disable the offending member's account (membership) and freeze all credits and commissions due.
Upon receipt of a spam complaint, the offending member will be notified in writing of the action taken, and will have a chance to offer explanations as to how and why the complaint was generated.
Upon review and explanation from that member, Cagora maintains the right to entirely delete that member account and freeze and seize any and all credits and commissions due. However as this is drastic action, such action will generally not be taken upon the first spam complaint unless the spam complaint and related activity is blatant and/or purposeful. If the offending account is not deleted after the review by Cagora staff, the account will be reinstated and credits and commissions due reinstated in full.
Subsequent Spam complaints will result in the same actions by Cagora staff but with the result to be account deletion and forfeiture of credits and commissions with no further review.
If you violate this SPAM Policy and it causes damage or loss to our servers, or causes one (or more) of our web sites to be interrupted from normal service, you will be held liable for all costs, damages and loss of business.
